Rancol & Co was founded on shared values, complementary skills, and a mutual drive to raise standards in the construction industry. The company is led by Jack Cole and Kenny Randall, two professionals whose careers began on the tools and have developed across multiple disciplines and sectors over the years.
Jack’s journey started young, spending weekends and school holidays on site before beginning a Quantity Surveying apprenticeship with a respected roofing contractor while studying at Anglia Ruskin University. He went on to work with both main contractors and specialist subcontractors, gaining a broad perspective across the commercial and delivery sides of the industry. His experience spans everything from complex refurbishment projects to new build developments, ultimately leading him to co-found Rancol & Co.
Kenny began his career working for his uncle’s construction business after leaving school, where he quickly developed a keen interest in carpentry. That interest led to a four-year apprenticeship in cabinet making, which became the foundation for a wider skillset built through hands-on experience in drylining, general building, and interior fit outs. Over time, Kenny took on more responsibility within the companies he worked for, gaining valuable operational insight before stepping into business ownership.
The pair first worked together on a large project, with Jack on the commercial side and Kenny leading operations. Their partnership quickly turned into a strong friendship and a shared vision, one based on integrity, craftsmanship, and a client-first approach.
Today, Rancol & Co brings together over 50 years of combined industry experience, covering high-end office fit outs, heritage restoration, social housing, local authority frameworks, and more. Every project is approached with care, professionalism, and a genuine desire to deliver quality, not just in the work, but in the relationships built along the way.
